Spetses
Our Friends, Harry & Jessica, were so great as to allow us the use of their home on the island of Spetses.
Spetses is one of the Saronic Islands and is located near the Peloponnese mainland. The weather was perfect and the beaches were gorgeous (although, to be honest, it's pretty hard to find a bad beach in Greece).
There are very few cars on Spetses and most people get around by, either, scooter, motorcycle, walking, or horse-drawn carriage.
"What We Did During Our Summer Vacation..."
Now, as many of you know, we Jacksons live our lives by a set of strict codes and rules, and one of those rules has been to "Never Leave Our Area Code With Both Children Unless It Is Absolutely Unavoidable!!" It's a little maxim that has served us well in the past, but this year we broke that rule, big time!
This year we decided to pack up the family and travel to Europe! We are extremely lucky to have such great friends (shout out to Harry & Jessica and Shaz & Alex!!) who, either, let us stay with them, let us have their homes, or arranged to let us stay in the homes of friends.
Our first stop was Greece! After our visit to the Parthenon it was off to the beautiful island of Spetses.

Our first blog!!
Well, we've done it. The Jacksons have finally decided to join the 21st century and blog, baby!! More to come.
